I took them. For years I have considered myself to be something of an accomplished nature photographer. I harbored this belief in spite of the fact that I didn't even own a camera. Years ago when I did have a camera, I only took the occasional shot of nature when something exceptional caught my eye. And, I had always considered these photos to be throw-aways from among the other snapshots of friends and family in various activities.

But when my web designer suggested using graphics to break up the prose and make the website more visually interesting and appealing, I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to get a camera, take a hike and shoot some picture and see if I were as good as I thought I was. So I borrowed Heather's digital camera, went hiking and shot a bunch of pictures. I am very pleased with the results. I think that the pictures add a restful and tastefully artistic tone to the website. I have already received several comments and compliments on them.
